San Mateo led with  the highest average selling price at $1,700,705 followed by Santa Clara County at $1,673,221, Alameda County at $833,575, Monterey at $692,264, Contra Costa at $658,236, Santa Cruz at $650,448 and San Benito at $538,069
  • Total Average Days on Market in Bay Area counties analysed was 85 days in December 2015. Monterey County took highest Days to sell at 121 days followed by 106 days in Santa Cruz County, 99 days in San Benito , 76 days in Contra Costa County, 75 in San Mateo County, 73 days in Alameda, and 68 days in Santa Clara County.
  • Bay Area counties analysed had Listings Sold of 3,954 in December 2015. Alameda County had the highest sales at 1,192 followed by Santa Clara at 1,000, Contra Costa at 981, San Mateo at 388, Monterey County at 183, Santa Cruz at 159 and San Benito County at 42
  • Total average Sales Price/ List Price in Bay Area counties stood at 100.73%. Alameda County had the highest average Sales Price/ List Price at 103.42% followed by San Mateo County at 102.05%, Santa Clara at 101.79%, Contra Costa at 101.06%, Santa Cruz County at 98.55%, San Benito County at 97.91% and Monterey at 95.41%.
